Boasting natural resources that rival even the most prominent riparian locations in DC, Oxon Run Park presents an array of attractions. In collaboration with DCBIA, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation, and the Friends of Oxon Run, we developed a visual branding and signage scheme as an integral component of the refreshment project: Community Improvement Day.

I worked closely with local residents to create a visual identity that captures the park’s vibe—playful, active, and welcoming. From the playgrounds to the amphitheater, the design reflects the movement and connection that make this space special.

The logo captures the energy and community spirit of Oxon Run Park, reflecting its playgrounds, courts, and amphitheater. With bold typography and a dynamic icon, it symbolizes movement, play, and connection, reinforcing the park as a vibrant, welcoming space.
